Our take on the Mad Hatter was french victorian inspired. The color scheme and style made me think of Jack the Ripper/Sweeney Todd. We wanted to make him a slightly morbid and darker Mad Hatter. This costume is made of a striped decorator fabric, buttersuede, and and olive sweater. We covered the hat to replicate the Mad Hatter's. This costume can be recreated with similar fabrics.
